Tasks are organized into clear categories such as urgent, in progress, and waiting, helping superintendents quickly understand what needs attention.
Reflection
A way to organize multiple tasks clearly
Reduced need for repetitive communication
Better support for coordinating multi step repairs
A system that reflects their real workflow
Through this project, I learned that users rarely describe the real problem directly. The superintendent spoke about interruptions and waiting, which revealed deeper issues of visibility and coordination. I also realized that workflows are often non-linear, shaped by dependencies rather than efficiency.

Quick Communication box design to reduce unnecessary back-and-forth.
Completed & record system
After completing a repair task, the superintendent can upload photos as proof and document the work. These records are stored in the profile page, allowing quick access for future reference when similar issues occur.

Target User - Building superintendents
Superintendents are responsible for maintaining the daily operation of residential buildings. Their work includes inspecting systems, coordinating repairs, and responding to residents’ issues. However, their work happens behind the scenes, and is often only noticed when something goes wrong.

Task Overview
Making Maintenance Visible
This section combines completed work records with building system status, making both daily maintenance and overall conditions visible. It helps the superintendent track progress while giving residents a clearer understanding of how the building is being maintained.
The profile page provides a centralized overview of the superintendent’s work, including current status and past repair records. It allows quick access to work history while supporting better continuity and coordination in future tasks. In urgent situations, residents can also access the superintendent’s contact information directly from this page.
